From greeting patrons and scanning tickets to ushering, coat check, and supporting special events, our volunteers help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every performance.

We're always looking for new volunteers!
New volunteer intake occurs in September and February to accommodate adequate training time.
*Intake in the interim may be available by request.

Corporate and Group Volunteer Opportunities
Are you a local business, school, or community group interested in volunteering together?
Imperial Theatre may be able to arrange group volunteer opportunities or show takeovers.
Your team will complete a training session, then help support volunteer duties at a show, with our experienced volunteer team nearby to assist.

Youth Corps Program
Are you a student between the ages of 15 and 25? Looking for a unique volunteering experience? Interested in the arts? If the answer to these questions is “yes”, Imperial Theatre is the place for you!
We’re currently recruiting volunteers for our Youth Corps program. From ticket takers to ushers, Imperial Theatre is a unique and fun opportunity to get involved in the arts and your community.

Signed reference letter from our Front of House and Community Development Coordinator (after completing a minimum of 10 shows)
Volunteer credits for school
